DUI Bail Bonds
Whether you are a first-time offender or are on your DUI hat trick, we can help. If you are on your third DUI, then you are likely facing much higher fees and problems than a first-time offender. The courts will decide this, and we will get your bond sorted out. Our process if quick, efficient and available every hour, day and night. In the event that you are required to stay in jail until you reach a certain blood alcohol limit, then we will get everything ready to go until you are allowed to be released.
Since a DUI means that you have a substance in your system which is impairing your ability to think and function normally. Therefore, a judge may elect to keep you locked in jail until you sober up and are safe to return to society. Other judges may require that you be picked up and escorted home by a responsible and sober adult who then takes on the liability of your care. We cannot change the timeframe, but we can control our process and have the paperwork completed and waiting for when you are deemed safe for release.
Severity of the DUI
If you wrecked your vehicle, damaged property, or harmed another person while driving under the influence, then you will be facing a much steeper penalty. In the case that you hurt someone or worse, then you may not even be allowed bail. Or your bail might be extremely expensive and require a surety bond to cover the costs. Again, we are not lawyers and cannot argue your case or decrease the price of the bail. All we can do is post a bond and get you back into society within the regulations of the courts.
What to Expect?
When you, or someone on your behalf, contacts us to post your bond, then we start our process. We will look up your case in our system and contact the court or jailhouse to determine what the price of your bond is. If you have an attorney, then we will deal with them so that they can act as the liaison between us and the court system. Then, we will determine which bond is best for your situation and get your approval to complete the bonding process with the bond type that we have selected for you.
What Else Do We Do?
We are not lawyers who will argue your case or try to decrease your bail. We are not community service officers or social workers who will check up on you once you are free. We are not bounty hunters who will drag you back to jail if you fail to show for your court date. However, we are bondsmen. We get you out of jail and back home with the belief that you will return to your court date. That is our company. We do bonds, and if requested, can get you in touch with organizations who can further help you once you are out.
